Low Engine Power: Correction

Remove restrictions.

Remove restriction and/or replace filter.

See appropriate TESTS W/CODES - 6.5L DIESEL article below.

• TESTS W/CODES - 6.5L DIESEL (for C/K Pickup, Sierra Pickup, Suburban, Tahoe & Yukon)
• TESTS W/CODES - 6.5L DIESEL (for "P" & "G" Series Van)

Check fuel return system.

Check fuel delivery system.

Remove and replace fuel.

Check EGR system.

Check compression and valve lift.

Check fittings, and replace as required.

Remove restriction and/or replace nozzle.

Repair or replace turbocharger assembly.

Check transmission operation.
