Retrieving Codes
NOTE:
Perform appropriate FUNCTIONAL TEST chart under TROUBLE SHOOTING CHARTS .
- Vehicles with VCM and 16-pin DLC DO NOT have the capability to flash trouble codes. A Tech 1 or other scan tester is necessary to retrieve codes.
- Turn ignition off. Connect Tech 1 to DLC. Access 4WAL brake trouble codes using Tech 1. Repair trouble codes in order they appear. See 4WAL FAULT CODE DIRECTORY for diagnosis. If no fault codes are present, see the 4WAL SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS DIRECTORY .
