SERVICE INFORMATION

This information should be inserted in the facing pages of DTC'S 17 and 18 under Diagnostic Aids.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS

With the electronic harness filter removed from the vehicle, it should be checked for opens, terminal contact/tension and for high resistance. Resistance on circuit 474 (terminal "A" gray wire) should be approximately 2.0 ohm. A "suspect" electronic harness filter can also be checked for failures at higher temperatures or by applying pressure with your fingers to the protective rubber casing while the voltmeter is still connected.
