DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition SOBDMC P0C17:00 Drive Motor 'A' Position Sensor Not Learned: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the TRID block was either not programmed, erased or lost. SOBDMC P0DFC:00 Generator Position Sensor Not Learned: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets if the TRID block is programmed, but the data is determined to be out of range. Possible Causes
- TRID block programming
- Inverter System Controller (ISC) calibration
- AM1 VERIFY THE INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) CALIBRATION LEVEL
- Verify the Inverter System Controller (ISC) is at the latest calibration level.
Is the Inverter System Controller (ISC) at the latest calibration level?
Yes GO to AM2 No UPDATE the Inverter System Controller (ISC) to the latest calibration level. - AM2 VERIFY THE INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) PMI (PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION) HAS BEEN PERFORMED CORRECTLY
- Scan the barcode on the tranmission and verify that the transmission information that is flashed in the Inverter System Controller (ISC) matches the transmission that is in the vehicle.
Does the transmission information that is flashed in the Inverter System Controller (ISC) match the transmission that is in the vehicle?
Yes GO to AM3 No CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, carry out a PMI on the Inverter System Controller (ISC). - AM3 REPEAT THE SELF-TEST
- CLEAR the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTC s.
- CARRY out the Inverter System Controller (ISC) self-test.
Is DTC P0C17 or P0DFC present?
Yes CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, carry out a PMI on the Inverter System Controller (ISC). No The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition, the TRID block was not programmed correctly or was erased.
