Global Customer Symptom Code (GCSC) Chart

In most circumstances, the GSM will set a DTC to help guide with diagnostics. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart  before using the Symptom Chart. The Customer Symptom column lists the vehicle condition. The Action column refers to a pinpoint test. Each pinpoint test lists the components that can cause each symptom. The components are listed in order of disassembly. Use the list of components and the directed action to identify the root cause of the concern.
