Mode Select Switch (MSS): Removal

  1. Release the retainers and remove the lower RH center stack trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  2. Release the retainers and remove the lower LH center stack trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  3. Remove the bolts and the lower center stack trim panel.

    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

      Torque: 17 lb.in (1.9 Nm)

  4. NOTE: Place the transmission selector lever in the NEUTRAL position.

    • Lift the upper finish panel upward, release the retainers remove the floor console upper trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    1. Press and release the ATCM retaining tabs inward.
    2. Remove the ATCM from the upper finish panel.
