Gear Shift Module (GSM): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the screws, release the clips and remove the center console floor trim panel.

  2. Open the glove box.

  3. Remove the upper glove box trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  4. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  5. Remove the center console trim panel screws.

  6. Remove and disconnect center console trim panel.

    1. Release the center console trim panel from the instrument panel.
    2. Disconnect the 12 volt accessory port, USB and the GSM. Remove the center console trim panel.

  7. Remove the screws and the GSM.
