Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
With the ignition ON, the SASM communicates with the other modules over the HS-CAN2 and through the GWM. A GWM failure, a circuit failure on the CAN or an excessive load on the network can all cause a communication error and the SASM to set a DTC.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| SASM U0001:88 | High Speed CAN Communication Bus: Bus Off | The module could not communicate on the network at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is able to communicate with the diagnostic scan tool to report this DTC. |
