Throttle Body: Removal
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview
- Remove the bolts, the retainers and the front underbody shield.
- Remove the air conditioning compressor belt. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor Belt
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and release the wire retainers. Remove the hose bracket nut, then move the bracket out of the way.
- Remove the air conditioning compressor bolts and stud, then move the air conditioning compressor out of the way.
- Disconnect the quick release coupling. Loosen throttle body inlet tube clamp, then move the throttle body inlet tube out of the way. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling
- Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector, then detach the throttle body wire retainer.
- Remove the throttle body bolts, then remove the throttle body.
