DTC DESCRIPTION P0A50 - GENERATOR POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT OVERSPEED
| Description:
This DTC sets when the transmission generator exceeded its calibrated maximum RPM limit. |
Possible Causes:
- GR1 or GR2 circuit intermittent open
- GS1 or GS2 circuit intermittent open
- GC1 or GC2 circuit intermittent open
- GR1 or GR2 circuit intermittent short to ground
- GS1 or GS2 circuit intermittent short to ground
- GC1 or GC2 circuit intermittent short to ground
- GR1 or GR2 circuit intermittent short to voltage
- GS1 or GS2 circuit intermittent short to voltage
- GC1 or GC2 circuit intermittent short to voltage
- Damaged transmission
