Front Seat Backrest: Installation

All seats 

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure
    1. Install retainer and hand tighten clockwise 4 turns.
    2. Install retainer and hand tighten clockwise 4 turns.
    3. Install retainer and hand tighten clockwise 4 turns.
    4. Install retainer and hand tighten clockwise 4 turns.

    1. Tighten the bolt.

      Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)

    2. Tighten the bolt.

      Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)

    3. Tighten the bolt.

      Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)

    4. Tighten the bolt.

      Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)

  2. NOTE: Before installing the height adjust handle, check that the cap is positioned correctly.

    Install the height adjust handle.

  3. Install the front seat. Refer to: Front Seat .

    Driver seat 

  4. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new seat backrest frame with memory seat option.

    Operate the seat backrest in both directions through the full range of travel to set soft stops and avoid a premature stopping point occurrence after the vehicle is returned to the customer.
