Rear Coolant Flow Pump: Removal

1.

Refer to: Engine Cooling System Health and Safety Precautions .

2.

With the vehicle in N, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

3.

Remove the retainers and the shield plate.

Remove the retainers and the engine undershield.

- 1.
  
  Disconnect the electrical connector.
- 2.
  
  Detach and remove the rear coolant flow pump from the bracket.
- 3.
  
  Pinch off the coolant hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp(s) Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- 4.
  
  Release the clamp and disconnect the coolant hose.
- 5.
  
  Release the clamp and disconnect the coolant hose.
