Cruise Control Module (CCM): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.

Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .

2.

NOTE: Gently pry the CCM from the retaining studs.

Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the CCM from the bracket.

Inspect the CCM grommets for damage. Replace any damaged grommets

4.

If bracket removal is required, separate the wiring harness guide.

5.

Remove the CCM bracket.
1. 1.
  
  Remove the CCM bracket bolt.
  Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
1. 2.
  
  Remove the CCM bracket bolt.
  Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
1. 3.
  
  Remove the CCM bracket nut.
  Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
1. 4.
  
  Slide the CCM bracket left and then down.
