High-Pressure Fuel Pump Drive Unit: Installation
NOTE:
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Install the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit, then install and tighten the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit studbolts in the following 2 stages.Torque:
Stage 1: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
Stage 2: 60°
- 3.
Inspect the coolant tube O-ring seal and replace as needed. Lube the coolant tube O-ring seal with clean coolant.Material: Motorcraft® Orange Concentrated Antifreeze/Coolant (U.S.) / VC-3-B (U.S.) (WSS-M97B44-D)
- 4.NOTE: The coolant tube must be fully seated prior to tighten the bolt.
Torque:
1: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
2: 115 lb.in (13 Nm)
- 5.
Install the high-pressure fuel pump. Refer to: High-Pressure Fuel Pump .
- 6.
Fill and bleed the cooling system. Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING - 2.0L EcoBoost (184kW/250PS) - MI4.
