Removal And Installation: Condenser: Removal

  1. 1.

    With the vehicle in NEUTRAL position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

  1. 2.

    Recover the refrigerant. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .

  1. 3.

    Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .

  1. 4.

    Detach the wiring harness retainer and remove the push pins.

  1. 5.

    NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.

    Remove the nuts and disconnect A/C lines from the condenser.

    Torque:

    1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

    2: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

  1. 6.

    Remove the bolts and position the power steering cooler aside.

    Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

  1. 7.

    Release the tabs and remove the condenser.
