Cruise-Control Module (C-CM): Removal

NOTE: The vertical and horizontal alignment procedures need to be carried out to align the sensor.

Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) or bracket

If installing a new Cruise-Control Module (C-CM), upload the module configuration information to the scan tool. Refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to BUMPERS .
NOTE: Gently pry to release the C-CM from the ball studs.
NOTE: If a ball stud grommet is damaged, install a new grommet.
