Disassembly and Assembly of Subassemblies: Differential: Disassembly

  1. NOTE: Take care not to damage the differential impulse ring.

    Use Special Service Tool: 204-069 (T81P-1104-C) Remover/Installer, Front Wheel Hub  .

    Use the General Equipment: Bearing Separator

  2. Remove and discard the differential ring gear bolts. Lightly tap the ring gear to separate it from the differential case.
  3. Clean all parts in clean solvent and dry with compressed air.
