Selector Lever Cable: Installation

With the aid of an assistant, route the selector lever cable through the floor and press the grommet in place.
1. Pull the selector lever cable down and make sure the locking tabs are in place.
2. Install the selector lever cable bracket nuts.
  Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
1. Position the heat shield and install the nuts.
2. Position the crossmember and install the nuts.
  Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
Attach the muffler and tailpipe assembly to the isolator.
Install a new gasket.
- Position the muffler and tailpipe assembly on the isolator.
- Install new nuts.
  Torque: 35 lb.ft (47 Nm)
- Position the selector l ever cable and slide the locking tab on the bracket.
- Install the selector lever cable bolt.
  Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
Install the battery tray.

Position the carpet.
Attach the selector lever cable onto the bracket.
Attach the selector lever cable to the selector lever.
Install the floor console.

Adjust the selector lever cable.
