Inspection and Verification

- Verify the customer concern by operating the transmission external control.
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage, refer to the following chart:VISUAL INSPECTION CHART
Mechanical Electrical - Damaged Brake Shift Interlock Actuator (BSIA)
- Damaged Tow/Haul switch
- Damaged Select Shift switch
- Body Control Module (BCM) failed fuse(s):
- 18 (10A)
- 35 (5A)
- PCM/Transmission Control Module (TCM)
- Damaged wiring harness
- Loose or damaged connections
- Corroded or damaged terminals
