A module does not respond to the diagnostic scan tool
  • Fuse
  • Wiring, terminals, or connectors
  • Module

The RH  Lower Steering Wheel Switches Are Inoperative Or Do Not Operate Correctly Refer to the PINPOINT TEST GO to PINPOINT TEST T 
The RH  Upper Steering Wheel Switches Are Inoperative Or Do Not Operate Correctly Refer to the PINPOINT TEST GO to PINPOINT TEST U 
The CD  player is inoperative or does not operate correctly
  • CD 
  • ACM 
  • INSPECT the CD  for scratches, fingerprints, a loose paper label, incorrect format, or damage. INSERT a known good CD and TEST the system.
    • If the system operates correctly, the concern was caused by a damaged CD  .
    • If the system does not operate correctly, INSTALL a new ACM

The speed compensated volume does not operate correctly Refer to the PINPOINT TEST GO to PINPOINT TEST C 
The compass is inoperative or does not operate correctly Refer to the PINPOINT TEST GO to PINPOINT TEST X 
The audio system does not operate correctly from the FCIM  Refer to the PINPOINT TEST GO to PINPOINT TEST V 
The FCIM  illumination is inoperative or does not dim

  • FCIM

The FCDIM  illumination is inoperative or does not dim
