DTC P0A4B: GENERATOR POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT
| Description: | The TCM uses calibrated offsets stored in the transmission identification (TRID) block to operate the generator and traction motors. This DTC sets when the TRID block is not correctly programmed after TCM replacement or if the TRID block is erased, and vehicle performance is reduced. | ||
| Possible Causes: |

| Diagnostic Aids: | Verify the TCM TRID block has been programmed correctly. Refer to FLASH ELECTRICALLY ERASABLE PROGRAMMABLE READ ONLY MEMORY (EEPROM) . Clear the SOBDMC DTCs. Repeat the self-test. If the DTC is retrieved again, install a new TCM. Refer to the appropriate Automatic Transmission article.
