Removal and Installation

    NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module is being installed.
  1. Upload the audio DSP module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
  2. Raise the middle seat completely.
  3. Remove the 2 pushpins and the top tray.

  4. Position the cupholder aside.
    1. Release the tabs.
    2. Move the cupholder as far forward as possible.
    3. Move the front of the cupholder as far to the driver side of the vehicle as possible.

  5. Disconnect the audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module electrical connectors.
  6. Remove the 2 rear audio DSP module bolts.

  7. NOTE: Access the bolt from underneath the cupholder.

  8. Remove the front audio DSP module bolt.
  9. Remove the audio DSP module.
    • Route the audio DSP module forward and towards the passenger side of the vehicle.

  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Download the configuration information to the audio DSP module. For additional information, refer to PMI in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
