P0611 - Fuel Injector Control Module Performance

P0611 - FUEL INJECTOR CONTROL MODULE PERFORMANCE

Description:  The fuel injectors are controlled by the powertrain control module (PCM). This DTC sets when the PCM detects the voltage necessary to control the fuel injectors is not within a calibrated range.
Possible Causes: 
  • Aftermarket performance products
  • Damaged PCM
Diagnostic Aids:  Reprogram or update the calibration. Check for other DTCs or drive symptoms for further action. Make sure to check for aftermarket performance products before installing a new PCM. If it is necessary to install a new PCM, refer to FLASH ELECTRICALLY ERASABLE PROGRAMMABLE READ ONLY MEMORY (EEPROM) .
