Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) Module: Removal

  1. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
    NOTE: The PMI  process must begin with the current HVAC  installed. If the current HVAC  does not respond to the diagnostic scan tool, the tool may prompt for As-Built Data as part of the repair.

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin PMI  process for the HVAC  following the on-screen instructions.

  2. Remove the ACM  . REFER to AUDIO CONTROL MODULE (ACM) .
  3. Remove the HVAC  module.
    • Remove the HVAC  module screw.
    • Disconnect the HVAC  module electrical connectors.
    • Remove the HVAC  module.
