Pinpoint Test

1. Inspect for damage to the C-CM  bracket.

Is the C-CM bracket damaged? 

1. Yes: REPAIR or REPLACE the C-CM  bracket as necessary. REFER to Cruise Control Module (C-CM) . CARRY OUT the C-CM  alignment. REFER to Cruise Control Module (C-CM) (with Sensor) Adjustment .
2. No: GO to 2  .

1. NOTE: Remove the front bumper cover to carry out the vertical alignment procedure.

   Carry out the C-CM  alignment. REFER to Cruise Control Module (C-CM) (with Sensor) Adjustment .

Does the C-CM align correctly? 

1. Yes: The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern was caused by a misaligned sensor.
2. No: INSTALL a new C-CM  . REFER to Cruise Control Module (C-CM) .
