Transaxle Support Insulator: Removal
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the ACL and the outlet pipe. Refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Remove the battery and battery tray. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Slide the lock tab up and disconnect the TCM electrical connector.
- Disconnect the 3 battery cable pin-type retainers from the TCM bracket.
- Remove the TCM bracket nut, and the TCM bracket.
- Remove the cowl panel grille. Refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
- Install the Engine Support Bar and support the engine and transmission.
- Remove the transmission support insulator through bolt.
- Remove the wiring retainer, the 3 transmission support insulator nuts, the bolt and remove the transmission support insulator bracket.
- Remove the 4 transmission support insulator bolts and remove the transmission support insulator.
NOTE:
Keep the TCM electrical connector straight when disconnecting it or damage to the connector terminals can occur.
