Removal and Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
    NOTE: Support the Tool Link™ reader while the 2 screws are being removed. Do not allow it to hang from the electrical connectors.
  1. Remove the 2 screws and the Tool Link™ reader.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
    • If the Tool Link™ reader is being replaced, cut the power/ground feed from the vehicle electrical harness.
  2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • If a new Tool Link™ reader is being installed, splice the new power/ground feed to the vehicle electrical harness.
