Passenger Air Bag Module: Installation

  1. Install the passenger air bag module.
    • Seat the air bag trim cover clips into the instrument panel.
  2. Connect the passenger air bag module electrical connector.
  3. Install the 2 passenger air bag module bolts.
    • Tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
  4. Position the APIM  and install the 4 bolts.

  5. Repower the SRS  . For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING  in the General Procedures portion of this section.
