      • Is the voltage greater than 11 volts?
      • Yes:  GO to step 2 .
      • No:  VERIFY Body Control Module (BCM) fuse 1 (30A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR the circuit. If not OK, REFER to the SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS to identify the possible causes of the circuit short. DE-INITIALIZE, then INITIALIZE the Left Hand (LH) front window motor. REFER to WINDOW MOTOR INITIALIZATION .
  2. CHECK THE Left Hand (LH) FRONT WINDOW MOTOR DELAYED ACCESSORY FEED
    1. Ignition ON.
    2. Measure:
Fig 2: Checking Left Hand (LH) Front Window Motor Delayed Accessory Feed

      • Is the voltage greater than 11 volts?
      • Yes:  GO to step 3 .
      • No:  VERIFY Body Control Module (BCM) fuse 32 (15A) is OK.
  3. CHECK THE Left Hand (LH) FRONT WINDOW MOTOR GROUND
    1. Ignition OFF.
    2. Measure:

      • Is the resistance less than 3 ohms?
      • Yes:  GO to step 4 .
      • No:  REPAIR the circuit. DE-INITIALIZE, then INITIALIZE the Left Hand (LH) front window motor. REFER to WINDOW MOTOR INITIALIZATION .
  4. CHECK THE VOLTAGE SIGNAL FROM THE Left Hand (LH) FRONT WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH
    1. Ignition ON.
    2. While pressing and releasing the Left Hand (LH) front window control switch, measure:

      • Is the voltage greater than 11 volts when the Left Hand (LH) front window control switch is pressed; and 0 volt when the switch is released?
      • Yes:  INSTALL a new Left Hand (LH) front window regulator motor. REFER to WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR - FRONT DOOR . INITIALIZE the Left Hand (LH) front window motor. REFER to WINDOW MOTOR INITIALIZATION .
      • No:  If voltage was less than 11 volts when the switch was pressed, GO to step 5 .

If voltage was greater than 0 volt when the switch was released, GO to step  6 .

  5. CHECK FOR AN OPEN BETWEEN THE Left Hand (LH) FRONT WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH AND THE WINDOW MOTOR
    1. Ignition OFF.
    2. Disconnect: Left Hand (LH) Front Window Control Switch.
    3. Measure:

  6. CHECK THE Left Hand (LH) FRONT WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE
    1. Ignition OFF.
    2. Disconnect: Left Hand (LH) Front Window Control Switch.
    3. Ignition ON.
    4. Measure:
