Pinpoint Test

  1. REVIEW THE Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
    1. Review the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module self-test.
      • Are any other Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present, besides U1000:00 or U3000:49? 
  2. REPEAT THE Remote Function Actuator (RFA) MODULE SELF-TEST
    1. Ignition ON.
    2. Using a scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and repeat the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module self-test.
      • Is Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U3000:49 present? 
      • Yes:  INSTALL a new Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module. REFER to REMOTE FUNCTION ACTUATOR (RFA) MODULE .
      • No:  The system is operating correctly at this time. The circuit short has been repaired.
