Restraint Control Module (RCM)

The RCM uses the ISO (international standards organization) 9141 communications network for communication with the diagnostic tool. The RCM controls the deployment of the air bags based on sensor input. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
