Front Subframe

The front subframe is bolted to the body and is used to:

• aid in structural support.
• provide mounting surfaces for the front suspension.
• provide mounting points for the front stabilizer bar.
• provide mounting for the engine.
• provide mounting for the steering gear.
• protect the transmission and oil pan from damage.
