Removal & Installation
Disconnect negative battery cable. On vehicles with dual batteries, see DUAL BATTERIES under MISCELLANEOUS. Disconnect vacuum hose from Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor and position aside. Disconnect electrical connectors from glow plug module, remove glow plug module retaining nuts and remove module. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten glow plug module retaining nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
