In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301). Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
    2. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the transmission from the jack.
  2. Remove the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the bolts and the flexplate.
