Test B: Defogger Does Not Turn Off Automatically

Disconnect rear window defogger switch 5-pin harness connector C299. Measure voltage between ground and rear window defogger switch harness connector terminal No. 1 (Brown/Light Blue wire). See Figure . If voltage is greater than zero volts, repair short to power in Brown/Light Blue wire as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Recheck system operation. If voltage is zero volts, replace rear window defogger switch. Recheck system operation.
