Test I: Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter Out Of Synchronization

Use recorded results from GEM Self-Test. If DTC B2425 is present, go to step 4 . If DTC B2425 is not present, go to next step.
Press any button on inoperative remote keyless entry transmitter 4 times consecutively. If transmitter operates correctly, system is okay. Clear DTCs, and retest system operation. If transmitter does not operate correctly, go to next step.
If another remote keyless entry transmitter that works with vehicle is available, go to next step. If another remote keyless entry transmitter that works with vehicle is not available, go to step 5 .
Using a known good remote keyless entry transmitter belonging to vehicle, press any button. Within 30 seconds, press a button on inoperative transmitter. If transmitter in question operates correctly, clear DTCs. Retest system operation. If transmitter in question does not operate correctly, go to TEST G: KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK DOORS .
Reprogram inoperative remote keyless entry transmitter. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER under PROGRAMMING. If transmitter now operates correctly, clear DTCs. Inform customer that all additional remote keyless entry transmitters for vehicle must be returned for reprogramming to be operable. Retest system operation. If transmitter still does not operate correctly, go to TEST G: KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK DOORS .
