Test E: Set/ACCEL Switch Inoperative

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect cruise control servo/actuator harness connector C234. Measure resistance between terminals No. 5 (Light Blue/Black wire) and No. 6 (Dark Green/Orange wire) at cruise control servo/actuator harness connector C234 while pressing SET/ACCEL switch and rotating steering wheel from stop to stop. See Figure . If resistance is 646-714 ohms, replace cruise control servo/actuator. See SERVO/ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistance is not 646-714 ohms, replace cruise control switch. See CRUISE CONTROL SWITCHES  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
