Removal and Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Mercury Milan, 2010 Lincoln MKZ, and 2010 Ford Fusion. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Rotate the cruise control deactivator switch counterclockwise one-quarter turn.
  3. Remove the cruise control deactivator switch.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: When installing the cruise control deactivator switch, it is automatically self-adjusting to the correct position. Do not pull up or push down on the pedal during installation. Initial installation of the cruise control deactivator switch allows for one adjustment. If additional adjustments are necessary, install a new switch.
