Removal and Installation

- If installing a new Headlamp Control Module (HCM), upload the module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
- Disconnect the HCM electrical connector.
- Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and the HCM.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- If installing a new HCM, download the HCM configuration information from the scan tool into the new HCM. For additional information, refer to PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION (PMI) .
