Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the floor console finish panel.
    • Pull upward from the front of the floor console finish panel to release the retainers.
  2. Remove the 4 screws and the console ash tray assembly.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the center register panel.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the 4 screws and the audio unit/dual automatic temperature control (DATC) assembly.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors and the antenna cable.
  5. Remove the 6 screws and the audio unit from the bracket.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
