Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Module
NOTE:
Contour 2.0L bi-fuel models use an Alternative Fuel Control Module (AFCM) to allow communication between PCM and NGV module. See ALTERNATIVE FUEL CONTROL MODULE (AFCM) - CONTOUR 2.0L BI-FUEL . AFCM is incorporated within compuvalve on F150 and F250 bi-fuel models.
NGV module has 2 functions. The first function is to operate fuel injectors and is referred to as Injector Driver Module (IDM). The second function is to control fuel gauge and is referred to as Fuel Indicator Module (FIM). See NATURAL GAS VEHICLE MODULE LOCATION table.
