Memory Switch

Remove memory switch and disconnect harness connector. Measure resistance between appropriate memory switch terminals with switch in each position. See the MEMORY SWITCH RESISTANCE  table. See Fig 1 . If resistance is not as specified, replace memory switch.

MEMORY SWITCH RESISTANCE

Switch Position Terminals No. Resistance: Ohms
Neutral (1) 1 & 6 Greater Than 10,000
SET 1 & 6 Less Than 5
MEM 1 4 & 6 Less Than 5
MEM 2 3 & 6 Less Than 5
(1) Between terminals No. 8 and 9, the resistance should be infinite. When ohmmeter leads are reversed, resistance should be low resistance.
