- Check LED Off - Connect NGS tester to data link connector. Enter diagnostic data link. Enter driver door module. Enter active command modes. Select memory seat led control. Command OFF LED on. If off LED comes on, command LED off and go to next step. If off LED does not come on, check fuse No. 39 and go to step 15).
- Test Memory 1 Switch - Connect NGS tester to data link connector. Enter diagnostic data link. Enter driver door module. Enter PID data monitor and record. Select PID MEM1_SW - MEMORY 1 SWITCH. Press START button. If PID does not shows ON, go to next step. If PID shows ON, repair Brown/Light Green wire short to voltage or stuck switch.
- Test Memory Off Switch - Connect NGS tester to data link connector. Enter diagnostic data link. Enter driver door module. Enter PID data monitor and record. Select PID MEMS_SW - MEMORY OFF SWITCH. Press START button. If PID does not shows ON, go to next step. If PID shows ON, repair Brown/Orange wire short to voltage or stuck switch.
- Test Memory 2 Switch - Connect NGS tester to data link connector. Enter diagnostic data link. Enter driver door module. Enter PID data monitor and record. Select PID MEM2_SW - MEMORY 2 SWITCH. Press START button. If PID does not shows OFF/ON, go to next step. If PID shows OFF/ON, repair Black/Orange wire short to voltage or stuck switch.
- Test Off Switch - Repeat step 5). Press OFF switch. If PID shows ON, go to next step. If PID does not show ON, repair open in Brown/Orange wire or bad switch.
- Test 1 Switch - Repeat step 4). Press 1 switch. If PID shows ON, go to next step. If PID does not show ON, repair open in Brown/Light Green wire or bad switch.
- Test 2 Switch - Repeat step 6). Press 1 switch. If PID shows ON, go to next step. If PID does not show ON, repair open in Black/Orange wire or bad switch.
- Test Seat and Mirrors Memory 1 - Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Ensure transaxle is in PARK. Press memory 1 switch. Move seat and mirror to desired position. If message center reads SAVED TO DRIVER 1 two seconds after each switch is released, go to next step. If message center does not read SAVED TO DRIVER 1 two seconds after each switch is released, go to step 19).
- Test Lighting Memory 1 - Turn parking lights on. Press memory 2 switch. Adjust panel intensity. Adjust autolamp delay time. If message center reads SAVED TO DRIVER 1 two seconds after each switch is released, go to next step. If message center does not read SAVED TO DRIVER 1 two seconds after each switch is released, replace lighting control module.
- Test Seat and Mirrors Memory 2 - Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Ensure transaxle is in PARK. Press memory 2 switch. Move seat and mirror to desired position. If message center reads SAVED TO DRIVER 2 two seconds after each switch is released, go to next step. If message center does not read SAVED TO DRIVER 2 two seconds after each switch is released, go to step 19).
- Test Lighting Memory 2 - Turn parking lights on. Press memory 2 switch. Adjust panel intensity. Adjust autolamp delay time. If message center reads SAVED TO DRIVER 2 two seconds after each switch is released, go to next step. If message center does not read SAVED TO DRIVER 2 two seconds after each switch is released, replace lighting control module.
- Test Memory Recall - Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Press memory 1 switch. If seat and mirror moves to position 1, go to step 21). If seat and mirror do not move to position 1, replace driver seat module.
- Test Driver Door Module Power - Disconnect driver door module connectors C524 and C506. Check voltage at Light Green/Purple Wire of driver door module harness connector C524. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Light Green/Purple wire and/or blown fuse No. 39.
- Test LED Output - Using a jumper wire, connect Light Green/Purple wire of driver door module harness connector C524 to White/Orange wire of driver door module harness connector C506. If memory LED comes on, go to next step. If memory LED does not come on, repair open in White/Orange wire.
- Test White/Orange Wire - Disconnect memory switch connector. Connect NGS tester to data link connector. Enter diagnostic data link. Enter driver door module. Enter active command modes. Select memory seat LED control. Command OFF LED on. Check voltage at White/Orange wire of memory switch harness connector. If off LED comes on, go to next step. If off LED does not come on, repair White/Orange wire.
- Test Ground - Check resistance in Black wire between memory switch harness connector and ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace memory switch. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire.
- Test Lighting Memory 1 - Turn parking lights on. Press memory 1 switch. Adjust panel intensity. Adjust autolamp delay time. If message center does not read SAVED TO DRIVER 1 two seconds after each switch is released, go to next step.
