Rear Wiper Will Not Turn Off

  1. Test rear wiper/washer switch. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTING. Replace switch as necessary. If switch is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect rear wiper motor connector. Measure resistance between ground and Blue/Black wire at rear wiper motor wiring harness connector. If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, replace wiper motor. If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair short to ground in Blue/Black wire.
