Door Key Cylinder Switch (Probe)

  1. Remove door trim panel of switch to be tested. Disconnect switch connector. Insert key into outside door lock. With key in neutral position, no continuity should exist between Blue/Red wire and Green/Black wire terminals at door key cylinder switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  2. With key in lock or unlock position, continuity should exist between Blue/Red wire and Green/Black wire terminals at door key cylinder switch. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
