Coast, Resume Or Off Function Inoperative

Unplug servo connector. Measure resistance between pins No. 5 and 6 of servo connector while depressing each function switch and rotating steering wheel. See Figure. If all resistance readings are as specified, replace servo. See CONTROL SWITCH RESISTANCES TABLE.

If one or more (but not all) resistance readings are not as specified, replace command switch assembly. If all resistance readings are not as specified, check command switch circuit for open or short. If resistance varies when steering wheel is turning, replace clockspring assembly.
