Cold Start Injector Relay

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Mazda 929. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Remove cold start injector relay (located in left/front of engine compartment). Using ohmmeter, check continuity between terminals "A" and "E". Continuity should not exist. See Fig 1 . Apply battery voltage to terminal "C", and ground terminal "D". Again check continuity between terminals "B" and "D" with battery voltage applied. Continuity should exist between terminals "A" and "E" with voltage applied. Replace relay as necessary.
