Solenoid Valve (SV) Signal Check

Ensure ABS control unit is connected. Turn ignition on. Set DVOM on 20-volt scale. Measure voltage between ground and ABS control unit connector Yellow wire (Escort and Tracer) or Yellow/White wire (Probe). If voltage is momentarily more than 10 volts, go to PINPOINT TEST SV-3  . If voltage is not as specified, repair Yellow wire (Escort and Tracer) or Yellow/White wire (Probe) between ABS relay and ABS control unit.
