Symptom Checks

Check the following items:

• Perform QUICK TEST. See TESTS W/CODES - EEC-V (3.8L) article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. If code is present, perform appropriate CIRCUIT TEST.
• Check cooling system operation.
• Check temperature gauge and sender.
