Retrieving Codes
Service codes are retrieved from EEC-IV system through Data Link Connector (DLC). Various methods and test equipment may be used to access these codes:
- Analog Volt-Ohmmeter (VOM).
- Scan tester.
- In-Dash Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) light.
